Keep the Magic of Railways Rolling
The Toy Train Depot is a nonprofit operation and relies on public support to keep the museum doors open and the antique park trains running.
Your gift makes all the difference.
With your gift of $30, we can provide up to 27 passengers with an old-fashioned train ride.
With a $250 gift, we can keep the train running all day, serving up to 204 riders. Send us a 3” x 5” card with your ad on it, and we’ll display it for one month as part of our model layout scenery, highlighting your support.
For $970, we can run the train all week (Thursday – Sunday), entertaining up to 816 riders. Send us your magnetic sign and we’ll put it on the side of a train car for the week – highlighting your support.
Why Your Help Matters
Since 1986, the Toy Train Depot Museum has kept Alamogordo’s railroad origins relevant through preservation, education, and entertainment. But ticket sales and museum admissions don’t cover our operating costs, and grants only cover specific projects.
Your gift will help keep our museum open and our park trains chugging along, benefiting the next generation of Otero County’s residents and guests.

- In-Kind Donations — Do you have model trains, tracks, accessories, books, or train memorabilia? We’ll put them to work refurbishing our displays or sell them and apply the proceeds to upkeep of the museum.
